In Australia, one can be jailed for mushroom related crimes. If you can afford 15 to $30,000, it's perfectly legal and acknowledged by the government as an effective treatment against depression.

Society I believe funnels most people in a singular direction, with those who see the funnel and reject it sent to the sidelines. These sidelines are where depression and anxiety breed, especially in adolescence when one isn't fully aware of how the world works and so can't help but think their doubts about society are due to some fault within.

Those on the sidelines may then try to find wisdom with the help of things one can find growing in the ground. A reconnection with nature in this most sterile culture. An alteration in perspective which assists us going forward. Such a substance it would seem cannot be allowed to be consumed by the poor. Leave us with cigarettes and alcohol, pokies and Netflix.

Our currency is getting debased. Our housing markets are propped up by endless fiscal and monetary landmines for the longevity of our economies. The young are excluded from anything close to affordable housing whilst the old go on endless holidays funded by the young (pensions) and overly inflated housing which they use as an ATM.

My mother's house in 1995 was bought for 350,000. It now appreciates in "value" by 150 to 200,000 each year. If I work really hard, I may earn 90,000 this year.

One of our dogs just got bitten on her paw by a rattlesnake and is being rushed to the vet. This shit sucks

Update: She’s got a catheter in and is receiving antivenin.

Update2: She’s responding well to the meds but is going to stay at the vet for now.

:strokebeard: Would contributing to antivenin production make corral space more valuable, financially? There are alot of horse properties, here.

I was just talking about donating the rattlers we catch to a nearby place that could milk  them and make antivenin so this incident has really motivated me to follow through on that.

We just caught one last night down by the pigs. It was hanging out about 3 feet from the pig trough and they were actively eating. I think the unbelievably warm winter allowed the population to explode this season.

We are on the verge of desert, leading to Death Valley. Sometimes, sand collects in the street gutters, tumbleweeds on the fences, and there are wild cacti within walking distance of the houses.

My abdominals were contorting in a weird way, so could not support my bodyweight. I felt like I had been smooshed out of my normal proportions, and, with feelings of impending doom, ate something lazy, trashy, and very salty, which fixed me as soon as it settled in my stomach.

A cold shower, later, everything pops back into alignment, immediately.

You were hungry, ate some McDonald's,  and took a shower. Now you feel better.

Am I close?

Fucking so true. I'll be honest the last good things we have in this country are free emergency healthcare and unity. The unity is going to shit and I doubt the free healthcare will last

Negativity for me..told the clinic I interviewed at that they were hostile work environment and a pack of cunts. Lol. Not professional but it needed to be said. I've worked in similar workplaces and I imagine that people have left Bc of the hostile. Might be useful for them to have someone outside looking in to point it out and confirm.

Told them not to grill someone just for having a nursing background. I fucking cried after the interview.. absolute bullshit
