Zero growth after 2 days

Hello, I inoculated some agar plates for the first time on 6/29 with a spore syringe of b+ and have seen zero growth so far storing at roughly 70 degrees in the closet, also inoculated plates with a penis envy spore isolate on 6/30 and have zero growth on that also, I'm wondering if i did something wrong, I used milkboys agar recipe and they came out looking super clean.

:whathesaid: Sometimes spores take a week or two to germinate, 4 or 5 days on the fast side. Nothing to worry about :cool::mushroom2:

2 days is nothing, if you see anything grow in 2 days from spores it's probably gonna be mold so the fact that you've got nothing on there now is a good thing tbh. I usually get the first growth around day 4-10 so just relax and wait.

Good job with the agar though :rockon:

PE definitely looked like a LC but it said spore isolate on syringe b+ was very clearly just spores

You know I'll acknowledge and praise you for testing out your LC. I'm not sure why you injected into your grain at the same time. The idea behind the test is to not waste grain.

It wasn't LC it said spore isolate on the syringe and kinda looked like LC but I was wrong, The only reason I went ahead and put some in 4 jars is because I wanted some shrooms as soon as possible lol, and if it works out great, I already have all the supplies to do my own jars of oats those were 4-12 pre sterilized i bought from outgrow just to get jumpstarted back in to growing. I plan on doing like 4 18 oz monos and 2-4 66qt at the same time. Everything else is getting inoculated from agar though, and maybe some LC i make from the agar.
Also WE HAVE GROWTH BOYS!! Not in the grain as far as i can see but the agar, pics soon..

Just for info- if posting pics of plates a uniform background helps a lot. Grey/ black, or if you want it back illuminated just white paper with a light source behind.

Update pics on the plates let me know what you all think, theirs a few with this wispy looking growth not sure if its mold or just myc.
Also those 2 stacks of plates didn't get any growth wondering if I should just trash them?
Any tips on next steps would be greatly appreciated.

Let them grow out some more, time them. If it is mold it will haste and fill out your plates in no time.

In regards to a growth like the one on the left what are we thinking?
Theirs another b+ plate with just 1 growth just like this one, thoughts on whether its contam or myc, looks more like contam to me.
