Just got my lil workstation set up and I'm ever so proud of it and wanted to share lol * 5

24" FFU from Amazon, foot pedal operated coil, little roll-around cabinet that the local Catholic church gave to me, 24" shop light that I modified to sit on top of the FFU by welding a really thick piece of steel flat bar to the edge of it so the weight keeps it sitting stable while the light overhangs in front of the filter.

And the real kicker about this whole setup that makes me chuckle a little bit... That Sheet metal covering the top of the roll-around cabinet? That's military aerospace grade titanium sheet that a customer at work just gave to me. Cutting it down to size and breaking the creases in it to make it snap onto the top of the cabinet and drilling those two holes for the coil took ALL FREAKING DAY. If it were steel or aluminum, I would have had it done in minutes

Love the set-up, that light literally looks like it came built into the FFU.

I just picked up a steel table and organized a lil workspot myself. It's not much but it feels nice to build something for you by you.

Not many of us that can say our lab is "brought to you in part by the aerospace industry in collaboration with the catholic church".

Here's hoping some military grade shrooms come outta that thing :rockon:
