Can you re inject an AIO bag if nothing happens?

So I injected 6 bags overall with multi spore syringes, 3 of them being a specific strain. Everything took off and colonised except one strain, and all 3 bags of that strain have shown no sign of any mycelium growth in 20 days.

With everything else thriving except that one strain, I assume it’s bad genetics or the spores simply refusing to cooperate. My question is, can I simply re inject the same AIO bag with another strain from spore syringe, or are the bags done? There’s no contamination etc.

Well it depends, if the spores are dead and all you did was inject sterile water then the bags can be used. If something inside the bag, like bacteria killed your spores you can't use the bags.

I also would like to say that spores to bags/grains is always going to be a risk, it's hard to make a sterile spore syringe, even for vendors. With that said, it's up to you, if you have more syringes and are willing to take a loss, why not try :rockon:

I you find this hobby fruitful and plan on doing it for a while I suggest looking into getting a pressure canner and equipment for agar, that will give you a lot of control over the process.

Pictures help a lot. Take some shots of the mycelium in the bags. How to add a picture to a post
