Smoked a mean pork butt on my Weber kettle * 4

Smoked this for about 7 hours Saturday. Came out great. Sunday tacos were even better 😉

i was honestly impressed with myself :smirk:

14lb bird. took about 4.5hrs at 225-250 range over coals and apple wood chunks. the skin was crisp but not burnt. the meat was so juicy and the apple wood was a great compliment. the only downside was the gravy. i tried to collect some drippings but it was like liquid smoke gravy. not that appetizing :sad:

That sounds like a real good bird!  I do one every Thanksgiving too.
I cook on my Webers a lot. I think I'm at 7 of em now ðŸĪŠ

Snag a vortex and try out some wings.  There's people using them to make fries chicken too. I think that's my next cook.
