I love Gravy

i recently just started making my own gravies from scratch and i'm loving them.
My first one was a Roasted Prociutto and Beef and it was soo good.

I'm making a garlic chicken gravy right now. :laugh:

I can't believe i just started making these now. there so easy and mos def worth the time.

Well you make gravy with what's left after you bake or fry something. the 'stock'.
So I baked my chicken, before i put it in the oven I put a minced garlic/olive oil/cracked peppercorn rub on it, and threw on some chopped red onion.

then i drizzled with abit more extra virgin olive oil. baked until it was done. then i removed the chicken from the pan it was baked in. and added about a cup of water, a little flour, and put it on medium heat to simmer..and you just basicaly reduce it until it's the right consistancy. instead of water you could substitute chicken broth, white wine, cream etc...

I had Whipped to the Consistancy of Clouds garlic mashed potatoes to go on the side. :smile:

yea there so good. i think these ones were the best i've made, but it could of just been the gravy :wink:
