i know ur lookin for a definite answer, but from what iuve read here on these boards, and from what ive previously known, no they do not test for mushrooms, simply because they havent developed something that they can test the chemicals in shroomies for. i wood wait for a few more resonses tho

some places do, some places dont.

the general timeframe is about 72 hours, for government jobs, it's more common than for civilians.

shrooms can be detected. In a standard drug test shrooms, LSD...ect. are not tested for unless you have been caught with those substances before. So if your not on probation for shrooms, you are good to go and no worry's.

Your tests will most likely be the NIDA 5, pot, speeds, opiates, cocaine, and PCP

It is not illegal to possess benzodiazepines without a prescription - except temazepam which carries a 2 yr prison sentence and/or unlimited fine.

also known as Green Eggs, Jellies, Norries

its a rx muscle relaxant

now... distributing these drugs is NOT the same as having them in your possession. Police dont always play by the rules either, but most cases if you fight the charge (and you only HAD them, didnt give them to anyone else, and they werent intended for distribution) you should be safe.

Let me talk from experience:

No they will not test for mushrooms, or LSD.

Why?

Because it already costs over 100$ for the standard test, the NIDA-5. To them that covers the most commonly abused drugs.

To test for mushrooms, or lsd, they would have to order another seperate test, and it costs about 3 times as much. Bottom line is, unless they think your eating mushrooms everyday, and its negatively effecting your life, dont wory about it.

I was on probation for 6 months for possesion of a scheduled drug when I was 16. As was stated before, the NIDA 5 tests for THC, amphetamines, opiates, cocaine, and PCP. You're safe as far as I know. Keep on keepin' on. Probation sucks.

many corporations and big companies have contracts with these drug testing labs, so it's not uncommon to run the full test on someone's urine, and it's not that much more expensive.

I should get my BCD out of my closet and tell you all what kind of things they can test for.

I thought LSD was almost completely metabolized within 30 minutes of taking it and that only a few metabolites remained? Also I thought those were cleared within 24 hours at most?

I read up on the subject a while ago so information may have changed.

i am on probation now, and i get drug tested randomly (urinalysis). The test they give is the SAP- 9-50, which tests for 9 drugs, + alcohol. the other 4 then the 5 mentioned i dont know. i came up negative after using shrooms 3 days before. maybe the shrooms left my body before i was tested for it, dont know. Damned bastards

I believe LSD is completely metabolized by 6 hours after ingestion. The test for LSD looks for its metabolites, not the chemical itself.

I have considered such matters.

There's a useful page on this site about drug testing. Basically, they generally don't test for mushrooms and LSD unless that's the drug on probation for or whatever.

Psilocybin mushrooms are illegal to posses, buy, or consume in the USA, it is a Schedule 1 offence. Although it is legal for you to posess active mushrooms in florida.
Amanita Muscarita mushrooms are legal to posess, sell, and consume in the USA. In UK, they sell them in shops.
Here is a helpful list of drugs and how long they take to get out of your system:
Amphetamines - 2 to 4 days
Barbituates - 1 day to three weeks
Benzodiazepines - 3 to 7 days
Cannabinoids (any type of marajuana, even seeds) - 3 to 30 days
Clanbuterol - 2 to 4 fays
Cocaine - 2 to 4 days
Codeine - 2 to 5 days
Eurphorics (X, Psilocybin) - 1 to 3 days
LSD - 1 to 4 days
Methadone - 3 to 5 days
Methaqualone - 3 to 5 days
Opiates - 2 to 4 days
PCP - 2 to 4 days
Phenobarbital - 10 to 20 days
Propoxyphene - 6 hours to 2 days

How to avoid bieng caught using illegal drugs.
1. Dont use any drugs 5 days before they are undectable in your system (just in case)
2. To avoid hair tests, shave off all of your body hair except your eyebrows and say that your a swimmer.
3. Drink lots and lots of fluids.
4. Try to call in sick or say your on vacation that day your getting your drug test.
5. Try to find out the drugs that you are going to be tested for.

Hope my little summary thing helps
