Shroom drug test in marines???

Does anyone know if the Marines i the U.S. give a drug test that can reveal if you have taken shrooms?....and if so....how long does someone have to wait from the day that they took the shrooms to pass it?

most all drugs tests test for psilocybin

I disagree.... The two most common drug tests do not test for pilocybin. In order for you to be tested for shrooms you would more than likely have to have been previously busted for them. The standard government drug tests do no test for psilocybin. They test against the most commonly abused drugs wihich mushrooms is not one of.

Please be more specific....I would like to know directly for Marines......I am about to become a marine and I need to be sure if the Marines get tested for shrooms......many different people giving the same answer would make me feel safe enough to go with that answer....If anyone knows anyone in the Marines.....please ask them.....thank you all

yea, sorry about that, i had my facts mixed up. most drug tests dont test for mushrooms, but they are possible to test for. my mistake

I was in the Army for 6 years and they never caught me or any of my friends. We shroomed all the time then too. It is very difficult to test for shrooms in urine so don't panic. It pisses out in 24Hrs anyway.

I have friends in the Marines, everytime they go to Japan they eat the shit out of shrooms because they say that they don't show up on drug test(they are wrong because shrooms can be tested for) and almost everytime they get back to the states they recieve a drug test and they have never gotten into any trouble, so they must not test for them or something, I know this to be true but since its still second hand information I would find what kind of drug test they use and do a search on it, you should be able to find out all the chemicals they test for.

first of all, psilocybin leaves your system pretty quick, and second, they do not test for it's presence. BTW my friend's brother went and he said the first test doesn't matter...nearly everyone in his unit or whatever smoked herb.

It depends on what first test you are talking about. If its the physical before you go to bootcamp, you have to wait at least 45 days and then take another test before they will let you go. If you get busted for anything at bootcamp, you are fucked. But dont worry about them testing for shrooms, they dont. And it leaves you system so fast anyways, they'd be wasting all of the governments money(not that that would stop them, but hey, we've got a budget right?)
