I was thinking, too, of the archetype of the scorned and forgotten woman. Maybe She would rather be exploited (like a whore, Sophia), than utterly forgotten. Some Gnostic rumblings here… Modern peoples who view the universe as essentially “dead” matter (Mater, Latin for mother) that occasionally gives rise to sentient beings like ourselves, have forgotten her.

But even better to worship Her than to exploit.

I am something of a Kali devotee. When you place your faith in all of Creation, then no matter what happens, it has its divine place. She can hold our fear and show us that Indra’s Net is actually her body, and there is no limit to what she can take on

The divine feminine as principle of creation and transformation. The first intent to create beyond the wholeness and the other half we need to see beyond the illusion, to remember and to return to the source and be whole again. There's no separation and no merge without her.

That fits exactly with recent experiences I've had of Her being a kind of stepping stone back to merger with the All/One/Non-dual.

Stepping stone isn't quite the right way to put it. It's like, by recognizing oneness as part of her Infinite Body, She becomes me. And as Her, I crave the Father, the non-dual, a release from the burden of manifestation back into the Singularity.

One concept for the feminine is wisdom
And for the masculine method

Without method, wisdom is unable to accomplish its goals

Without wisdom, method is easily misguided and accomplishes the wrong aims

Note: this is not referring to biological men/women.

Hopefully it goes without saying that not all the women you meet are perfect embodiments of wisdom, or somehow bereft of a means to apply method. Please don't think this way. But rather that a man does not have the quality of becoming pregnant and giving birth, and instead provides an essential ingredient. So when thinking of the ground of wisdom impregnated with the seeds of method giving rise to something wonderful, the gendering makes more sense.

Each person has this potential. It is not exclusive to men or women. Nor do you require the opposite gender to recognize it.

That's a process of spiritual transmutation. A very noble intent for any Human Being. I wish you inner growth and harmony while following such path. Be aware in the now with love and compassion.

Interesting... In Hinduism, there is the concept of knowledge (Jnana) and action (Karma). Being "action" the outward expression of inner knowledge, a method can be seen as the structure of such action. The "way" of achieving a purpose. Along with the method there is another important aspect: "Will". Without "will", knowledge never becomes action. Thus the method wouldn't matter. "Will" is the intrinsic responsibility of the sentient being in what is the manifestation of reality. Without it, neither knowledge, method or action have any purpose.

Is there something without a will you can point to in order to help me understand what would be meant by a lack of purpose?

Like does an apple seed have the will to become an apple tree? If not, does an apple tree then lack purpose?
