Spores in Egypt?

Hi,
Anyone here growing mushrooms or tried ordering spore prints/syringes and the passed the customs?

I have few options:
  • Order a print from an online store
  • I have a friend coming from France, is it safe for her to pass the Airport security with spore prints? Will it be detected?
  • I can also ask her to inject the spores in a brown rice bag, How suspicious it would look if she did it a day before her plane?


What would be the safest option?

And ofc if someone here in egypt and can help me with some prints, I'd be forever grateful! 🙏

Think it’s 50 posts and a few months (check that) and you’ll get access to the market place, then you’ll have more spores than you know what to do with (:
Definitely don’t recommend your friend bring spores on a flight unless the prints were on paper, no, don’t use a grain bag to take on the flight either, just engage here on shroomery and you never know, someone might send something sooner 👍

I'd buy a pressure cooker and sterilize your own grains brother.

I'd mail you some old cube spores I have from an old grow in an envelope but with the country at war here I haven't had any envelopes I have sent/had sent to me arrive so far
