Last time I heard, Australian customs was intercepting spore shipments. I think it may be illegal or something to import mushroom spores.------------------

You will be able to get prints over there, but not syringes. I've traded prints with a guy from australia before, and he had no problems getting them, or me getting his.------------------

I send packages from Vancouver to Edmonton all the time. Standard shipping takes under a week, like ~5 days. It's the cheapest way to send a package, so that's how most people will ship.[This message has been edited by Krupa (edited August 02, 2000).]

heya Hofmann,
i am also wanting to obtain some spores from somewhere, i live in OZ too..
i wrote a letter to customs ages ago, and spores are live vege matter, so they are banned, without a permit. i also wrote an email to mr. hawk and he said that syringes are bloody near impossible to get in. but prints are no trouble. i found an aussie site:

,that might be ok, i have xchanged emails but cannot be sure. still weighing up pros unt cons...
i'd love to hear from anyone else with experience too...

I have ordered a B+ myco-culture from MMA (shaman-australis) just a few weeks ago. I give Dutchie two thumbs up!! His isolated cultures kick the shit out of a spore print for the extra $30 you pay, WELL worth it trust me. 100% colonization in 8 days, pinning from casing another 8 days after being cased...Let me know what you are going to order, I have a few sub-cultures of the B+ strain... I am really after the PF strain though because of the nice in vitro pinning

hey hofmann
i was wondering about a myco-culture,
a print sounds pretty contamination prone really..
i will read about the culture tek., i know nothing about how it works..have you ever made a print? if you have and you have a b+ print, or any strain suitable for my first try at growing, then i would love to have the pleasure of buying it from you if you wanted so... MMA have no b+ prints for a month at least.. and overseas costs heaps in conversion.
