I didn't mean that women's contribution was negligible.  Just that the total amount that they helped contribute, is relatively small, both compared to their size in the population, as well as when compared to the contribution of men.

Honestly, I don't understand why you are arguing this with me.  Do you honestly believe something as technical as the internet is not largely built by men?

i mean, one of those women Ada Lovelace was the first person to publish an algorithm intended to be executed by the first modern computer, in summary she invented computer programming.

to say she was negligible to the contribution of the net would be like saying claude shannon or alan turing were negligible to the invention of the computer, or that nikola tesla and thomas edison were negligible to electrical applications.
