First time I ever tripped off mushrooms was in the winter time. Either 95’ or 96’. I at them on the way to see a movie (The Rock). Was 10 minuets into the movie and I asked my girlfriend when the  previews were going to end. Of course she was like the movie started 10 minuets ago. Then in typical “weird shit only happens when you’re tripping” the movie ends and we walk outside to a random snowstorm. Remember back in the day when forecasters were like palm readers? Had no idea it was going to snow. There were already like three inches on the ground and I was tripping balls! I initially thought I would be chill enough to drive after the movie. I wasn’t. Took us an hour to complete a 5 mile drive because my girlfriend had never driven in snow and didn’t know how to drive stick!

Love to hear you're experiencing this. This thing does bring me a lot of happiness, but I put too much on myself. I always have...

The only time I've EVER danced, I was tripping on mushrooms. I'm often a very uptight person and would never let someone see me acting a fool, but I went to the stratosphere on a 6g trip and the glowsticks became my friend. Im glad nobody took a video of that. 🤣🤣

@Btraven I can’t tell if you’re 26 or 66 and that makes me extremely happy :rofl: excited to give those threads a read

I confess I too am guilty of the starting from 0 every time conundrum. I think it can be easy to get really excited and dive in and then it’s like driving a manual where it keeps jumping and dying lol, gotta find that soft slow balance and let it ramp up naturally, which I am yet to do 6 years in :P

I think having nothing to work with can be a motivator too. Maintaining work flow is optional when you already have something. When you have absolutely nothing, your only course of action is to get to work. If that makes sense...

Im more motivated to work OT when I'm broke. That kind of thing.

Forgive me, padre. I tried to fix the squeaky fan in my Nesco Gardenmaster and turned it on while still apart. Blew the thermal fuse in about 5 seconds with the fan not blowing across the coils.


Now heading over to the tool thread to show off my fancy pack of new thermal fuses.

If a hot water heater gets turned on without water in it. The coil will melt in under 14 seconds. Ruining the tank instantly.

Nah, I'm not to be trusted.

Seriously, though, I don't think I've put in the same type or volume of work that most tagged TC's have- endlessly guiding new people in the right direction, publishing grow logs, etc. I wouldn't say I'm working towards anything, other than maybe getting some of the ideas I have into writing.
