The new year started with a bang work-wise.
Everything piling up over the holidays demanded attention at once, so there was not much progress here.

But, I did get a few fruit off of the PE containers.
These do qualify as my first actives ever so I guess this IS a milestone of sorts...even if it was reached with missteps:

No sign of fruiting on the chestnuts tho.

I did have 3-quart jars of the same PE LC that is suspect. I put that to coir a while back also. They are colonized now:

I think they look okay, but there are no pins yet.

None of my Petri dishes seemed to have contamination problems, but my idea of wetting the sterile qtip with LC and using that to inoculate the plate did not work out.
Several of the plates are not showing any signs of growth at all.
I don't think I wet the qtip with LC thoroughly.
There was so much trouble in the still air box...anything is possible.
I will have to re-do the plates.
