I have a orion mind machine available at this link http://www.toolsforwellness.com. it may be set to flash and emit a tone at a particular frequency to one decimal place so 7.9 and 7.8Hz is possible 7.83Hz is not. It is the cheapest and most versatile of the low end models, and my setup has truwhite glasses over the red LEDs.
Basically 2 experiments are needed to first examine the physiological effects on a person who is sober and relaxed for 30 min intervals where blood pressure and pulse/breath rate is measured. Then the same test could theoretically be done on a person who was intoxicated.
Since the actual experience data one would get is highly subjective, a questionnaire would be required and is currently in development with help from a psych student. the same questionnaire would be used on the 10 volunteers at each specified frequency, maybe moving in increments of 1Hz. Any questions and suggestions for the research model we're designing would be helpful. This is not for submission to any school nor publication this is for us.
