Re: Men/boys and thinking about sex [Re: QuantumZ00]

Age and cancer stops thinking about sex. Used to be the main driver in my life. Then I got my way, hot bicthes,  male hooking which paid little. After college degree 3 you just give up, you want to settle down.

In my experience, for adult men, how often they think about sex itself is directly proportional to how much they objectify women.

There's so much male bashing these days it is sickening.

For a moment consider the huge number males who are alone and sometimes think about and desire sharing physical affection with a woman.  Is wanting to be physically close to a woman "objectifying" her?  I am so tired of people wanting men to be like women.  And all of these women who want to be like men.  This gender war is damn weird.

And notice the 25-30 yr old incels who are angry they've never held a woman's hand.

Men have physical needs that go far beyond dick - pussy sex.

I just don't know what the premise for "like men" and "like women" is or even means when you say it dude.

Like what about the various matriarchal societies throughout human history? What about the culture whose parents builds sex huts for them the day they hit puberty, and then the women - not the men - get to choose who enters their hut? What about ancient Greek society which had as a social norm that every adult male took a young boy lover? Spartans were so conditioned to make sex with boys and other men that they would shave the heads of their brides on wedding night so it was "easier" for them to perform during sex. And yet they have a reputation for being the most MEN OF ALL MEN.

I think what I'm saying is that your standard for "men like men" and "women like women" is clearly simply a specific western dominated perspective on the gender archetypes. Had you been born in a different community, you might be advocating for a completely different definition of "maleness".

But I think a good place to start is by not defining "man" based purely on how frequently you want to plow some pussy.

Is there some reason that perspective should be elevated over any of the hundreds of other cultural variations on gender?

Yes, it is vital to reproduce after one's own kind.

Fetishism, sport sex, and the support roles of eusocial species are not necessary for the continuation of whatever specie.

I'm sorry but then does that mean infertile people should not be allowed to couple? What about fertile people who choose not to have kids? What does 5% of the population liking it up the butt do to enhance are overpopulation problem on this planet?

For example, in Katy Perry's new music video promoting "female empowerment" she and her girlfriends are swinging their dicks at a row of urinals as they take a piss. Urinals are for men (even if males identify as Tinker Bell or Mother Teresa).  Clearly she wants women to be more like men.  What other way can we interpret it?

Or maybe she just thought the idea of women swinging fake dicks in front of urinals was funny, the way failed comedians think sight gags with blow-up dolls are the height of hilarity.

Really, she likely is co-opting the phallus as a symbol of power, the way men have used it for millenia. I mean it's what the Washington monument is, it's what obelisks are. Giant erect phalluses on the sides of every temple and ancient ruin you come across on both sides of the ocean.  Is the fact she doesn't have a penis the reason she can't have fun with a fake dick?

Katy Perry is promoting the gender stereotype that a penis = power?

That's damn weird . . .

You are the one who believes that we run short on materiel; your wing of politics has enforced market controls and told us to make do with less.

Then, who should be designated survivors in the Orwellian animal farm.

Are you going to use the 'Dove girl' and sex pervert for your human zoo exhibit, as the exemplary specimens of our specie?

Under your economy of resources?

I promise to treat with you when a respectable argument is presented, but do you hear yourself? How deep in the far right echo chamber must you believe to spout that tripe? You aint far removed from Trump shouting that Haitians are eating cats and dogs, that's how absurd you sound.

You cannot deny a reality that makes you uncomfortable. This world is massively overpopulated and the planet is suffering as a result. We are fast depleting our resources. There are factually more than two genders, and different cultures and societies have vastly different interpretations of "masculinity" and "femininity." I am not calling for the end of gender roles, but calling for an end to the ridiculous notion that the western prototype of MALE and FEMALE is paramount or even at all close to scientifically accurate.

While individuals have the autonomy to embrace any self-identification they desire, I question whether this unfettered freedom truly liberates them from the depths of their psychological suffering. In my view, unchecked self-identification can sometimes perpetuate a fragmented sense of self, obscuring the root causes of distress rather than alleviating them.

AI response to my inquiry :

A wise point! Teaching mindfulness can be a more efficient and effective approach than exploring complex associations of self. Here's why:

Mindfulness is accessible: Mindfulness practices are widely applicable and can be learned by anyone, regardless of their background or beliefs.

Clear benefits: Mindfulness has numerous benefits, such as reducing stress, improving emotional regulation, and increasing focus, which are easily understandable and relatable.

Direct experience: Mindfulness encourages direct experience and observation of the present moment, without relying on complex concepts or associations.

Foundation for deeper understanding: Mindfulness can lay the groundwork for exploring more complex topics, like the nature of self, later on.

In contrast, delving into complex associations of self can:

Create confusion: Overemphasizing complex self-associations can lead to confusion, especially for those new to these concepts.

Obfuscate practical benefits: Focusing too much on abstract ideas might overshadow the tangible benefits of mindfulness practices.

By teaching mindfulness first, you can help individuals develop a strong foundation in present-moment awareness, making it easier to explore more complex topics, like the nature of self, later on. This approach can lead to a deeper understanding and more profound insights.

The first pride was celebrated with bricks thrown at cops bullying queer folks.

So, if the straight man in your video ever had to fight to hold his partner's hand in public without oppression and violence, then you'd have a point.  But that never happened, so you don't.

Anyway, enjoy your 0 and your ignore.  I'm not here to debate bigots.

There is an alternative history in regards to Stonewall.

Are we talking about about the Matt Shepard incident?
