the polyphonic spree

http://flashtracking.com/ps/default.asp?aid=10&pop=n&fla=y&bandwidth=high

i watched a video or two, let me just say that it made me want to do horrible unnatural things. it sorta has a gay-peadophile vibe that is creepy and disturbing.

please i beg that nobody "groove" to this and validate this inane retarded crap, i swear if i have to see it again it will make me insane. seriously, im not trying to be funny.

its like a bunch of mormons on extasy got together and made their own clothes and wrote new lyrics to childrens music from the 90s, got gay, and started sweating.

its like a feel-too-good richard simmons cult.

it makes me want to wet my pants and sing about it to care bear showtunes.

its like satan wearing the flayed and still-smiling corpse-husks of raped angels and masturbating all over a microphone.

its wrong, and apparently its growing. like colon cancer.

or am i missing out on something groovy and trippy?
i think its a joke sent by cthulu to torture non-abyssal humans.

does anyone agree?

hahahahahaha.....

:twisted:music sounds like it's comin' from a Brady Bunch Cult:twisted:

Hold Me Now

He started the day with a mood and a shake.
He was finally arranged.
And someone said with a cold, hard chest, "You're a mess!"
He woke up at nights.
He thought he was twice.
He was moving away cause everyone thinks that it goes away with age.

Hold me now. Don't start shaking.
You keep me safe. Don't ever think you're the only one when times are tough in your new age.

Hold me now. Don't start shaking.
You keep me safe. Don't ever think you're the only one when times are tough in your new age.

You better be cool at the time

He?s walking along with his soul in his lungs.
Ya stare at him long you can find a new song.
Everyone thinks they've got a new phrase.
But you're still miles away.
You're still miles away.
I said, "You're still miles away."

Hold me now. Don't start shaking.
You keep me safe. Don't ever think you're the only one when times are tough in your new age.

Hold me now. Don't start shaking.
You keep me safe. Don't ever think you're the only one when times are tough in your new age.

Hold me now. Don't start shaking.
You keep me safe. Don't ever think you're the only one when times are tough in your new age.

Hold me now. Don't start shaking.
You keep me safe. Don't ever think you're the only one when times are tough in your new age.

Hold me now. Don't start shaking.
You keep me safe. Don't ever think you're the only one when times are tough in your new age.

Hold me now. Don't start shaking.
You keep me safe. Don't ever think you're the only one when times are tough in your new age.

They were at Bonnaroo '03. I had to stop and watch for a good 10-15 minutes just because the whole experience is so alien and chaotic and ghey that one is frozen in astonishment.

FYI, The frontman is the former Tripping Daisy singer.

I saw them at Austin City Limits Music Festival Last Year and absolutely loved them.....I didn't care for their performance on the VMAs last night....though I didn't care for the VMAs very much in general...I really have yet to figure out why I sat through as much of that as I did. I think it was alicia keys' fault...she makes it so hard to change the channel...

They have that same happy-go-lucky-sit-in-a-circle-on-a-carpet-sing-along-and-drink-apple-juice thing that Phish has.  :sun:

but i just cant jam to that

I think they're GREAT! Their lyrics remind me of Steve Hillage... lame as hell, but clean and true.
I bet there's a right time for this sort of thing.
And they get bonus points for idiosyncracy.....
