    if you are a hendrix fan you really have to check out Morning Symphony Ideas, its essentially a bunch of rough tracks that illustrate his song writing process. he just jams for 30 minutes on one tune (keep on groovin', you gotta check that one out!) and 21 minutes for the other. there are a couple more songs on the cd that are equally as good.

    Live at Berkeley and First Rays of the New Rising Sun are also well worth adding to your collection

    Ian is nuts, I heard he came out in a huge pink rabbit suit in the 70's and played some insane solo that scared away 1/4 the audience.

    I guess acid heads don't like pink bunny's.

    I`ve seen Tull many times and he never ran off anybody while onstage...Ian Anderson is a wonderfull musician
    Stand Up was one of the older pre-Thick albums the younger one need to hear

    I too have seen Jethro Tull a zillion times. They were just at Cain Park a few weeks ago. The live album "Bursting out" jams like what.
    Jethro Tull- Crest of a knave (beat out Metallica for a grammy)
    ANY ZAPPA!!!!!! (joes garage, any of the YCDTOS series are good places to start)
    The Who-any before "Its hard"
    Traffic- Low spark of high heeled boys
    Jimi Hendrix- Rainbow Bridge
    Jimi Hendrix- Midnight Lightning
    Jimi Hendrix- Live at Winterland
    Jimi Hendrix- Crash Landing (great fucking album!!!)
    Any pre-1984 Rush. (grace under pressure was the last album I liked)
