Do cacti cuttings need to be a certain length to root?

Hi, if I take say a 1-2 meter cutting from a peruvian torch and leave it about 6 week to calous, will it still root and grow normally like a 1-2 foot cutting?

yes it will, but 6 weeks is a bit excessive.

No, I've grow myrtillos from 1 inch pieces of trim.

I've rooted 1 mm Pereskiopsis cuttings.
