Yeah, like tom says is good, BUT, I would scratch the peroxide idea, it really isn't neccessary, and with perlite, they always pin the fastest when you set the cakes directly on the perlite, they suck up water from the perlite, so alot of your pins will be on the bottom, but they will be abundant. Take em off the perlite when they get to be about an inch tall. If you use THIS method and there is peroxide in the perlite, they will all grow up lookin like freaks. Otherwise, peroxide is...ok, but using FRESH perlite without is better, its only 2 or 3 bucks a bag.

totally agree, but after awhile the perlite will develope a bad smell....bad sign. and Tom you finally posted something worth reading!! ha ha

he could always add the peroxide after he removes them from ontop of the perlite.
