Can it be used as a substitute for Rubbing alcohol to sterilize stuff? Like tin foil for prints

Your safer with the alch. Strange for me to say cause I very much hate to use alch on the foil I use for prints.

any leftover residue or even still wet alcohol that you cant see, can surely kill the spores. You probably wouldnt even know it right away either, untill you watch your jars for two weeks and they dont colonize. But more than likely there will still be many good spores left, and probably wont effect the outcome
