Shroomery House band......

You know one of these days we should organize a shroomery house band to play at all the gatherings and such, I know there's enough musicians laying around here....it's a pretty far fetch idea since we're spread out like we are, but it would be a lot of fun.

Judging by the sounds of their newer music I think they might prefer some ecstacy instead!!

Man you've got to respect cheese's explorations in sound....they're musicians, and as such it's in their nature to explore and broaden their horizons. They're playing more electronic and "techno" (the end all catch all term) influenced music is just their way of exploring new occurences in music, but really if you look at the content of it it's still amazing stuff and their still showing true validity and content in their stuff. They're amazing musicians man.....they really blow me away sometimes.

I personally think they're still prefer the shrooms, though I'm sure they've experiments with those little pills a few times.

I think that's an awesome idea, but has a flaw. The shroomerites are such an eclectic people, that it would be nearly impossible to come up with a sound that everyone would like. Now the pub house band, on the other hand......hmmm.....

we've been planning a similar thing for years... but having several shroomery members that are in bands play at a shroomery gathering.. several bands..
now we are actually thinking about it -

I think all the ideas are awwesome. Music is what it's about, no matter what form. A band, hell yeah. People jamming out on thier flutes and shit, hey that's cool to. Whatever makes you smile!

Too much diversity in musical tastes to get a band we could all agree on. You'd have to reconcile the Deadheads, ravers, metalheads, punks, etc. I think it's best just to let Shroomerites play their own music at gatherings. I always bring my guitar to gatherings(except raves).
