Actually my humidifier is a sunbeam. It's the little grey personal model. Is there anyway I can fix this problem without having to completely scrap my existing setup??

well, you can look up the mmgg I think he had some modifications that you could do to it. are use perlite like was just sujested. I'm using it now and it works great plus it's cheap about 4 dollars a bag.

i invested in the ultrasonic and spent a bunch of time rigging it up with timers, etc. then for an experiment i used perlite and threw the humidifier in the garage. perlite works great. i have had it humidifying my terrarium for about 8 weeks now and i still have to leave the lid off a little bit because of too much humidity. you can get a bag for about $3.
