nonsence, I was wondering the same thing.
Do the Tampanensis mycelium grow very quick on bird seed?
I was wondering if it would be best to use quart jars or pints.

It grows great on millet(birdseed), but so far I've had 3 jars of tampa on millet for 9 weeks, and still no sclerotia visible. I get very thick root like mycelium growth in spots, and it looks like its going to do something, but never does. Of course this doesn't mean much, it could just be my paticular strain, its the first I've worked with tampa. I'm using pints, but I'm sure quarts work just the same if not a little better. I would go with grass seed if your going for invitro sclerotia, much more airy and spacey, lots of room for stone growth.
