1st timer.. Agar doing ok after 2 days except....

Like i said doing ok. This was just for a test but i might transfer to lc idk yet.

have pe,jmf and wr on agar and doing some other things.

out of plates i only see 1 suspect one (top picture)

and the rest look like snow puffs.

so here's my first whack at agar. If the one that is bad i just throw it out, correct?

Black one is mold the others questionable does it have black dots in the white growth?

all i can see is white for all of them, except the blackish one.
Theres the black one, and the rest look all just like snow or white powder I guess

Like for example the one with a Q-tip and it still and the one next to it there's absolutely no Darkness that's just from the picture it's completely White.

strange but that blackish one honestly reminded me of a female porn star from the 70's if you catch my drift. First thing i thought.

The one with very little agar in it was an accident

Do you have a scapel or knife? Try to pull the very tip in a triangle cut from the white to a new agar plate and you should have a clean culture doing that once or twice. White a cotton is good it should look better after a transfer and growing out. Snow puff is a good description I think of early growth.

If you get more clear pictures of it I'm sure someone else will chime in with suggestions on making a transfer as well.

What exactly are you trying to do just test your syringe or grow out agar for transfers?

Sorry I'm not the most articulate person.
