possible contam?

Afoaf is doing a casing using a 50/50+ casing and there's a part of the casing that is white, looks somewhat like baking soda, with a possible green tint. From PF cakes, the green stuff isn't very good, as in they contam. Is this possibly the same thing? Any possible solutions to fix it?

h202 has never worked for me once mold has shown itself...its a great preventative tho

Filling the hole and a little surrounding casing with table salt does a good job,but if it has already turned green you probably have spores everywhere and IMO very hard to bring it back around to clean.

I've tried pure h202 and a salt....neither worked for me....thats not to say it won't but I didn't have success with it
