It feels futile but everything that you say plants seeds. Sometimes their mind happens to become fertile soil for circumstantial reasons.

If you always got to experience witnessing the fruits of the plants that grew from the seeds you sowed then it wouldn't feel futile

I didn't really figure out anything on my own.

Asante; could I ask why you are depressed?

I hope I am not prodding or being nosy. Childhood bullying took a long time for me to truly grow and soothe from. My adulthood was largely shaped by a handful of experiences of people saying things that were unkind.

But if your depression is trauma based I could post a few things that take a 2-3 minutes but worked incredibly well for me and immediately I gave huge benefits

Basically everyone has a low magnesium

Measuring your blood level is not very useful except in specific contexts like mothers with preeclampsia or people with late stage chronic kidney disease or heart failure. Most of the magnesium isn't in the blood. Or at least it shouldn't be. If it were you're probably gonna have problems soon. Most of it is and should be inside of the cells at most times. A blood test gives you a measure of the concentration of magnesium in the intravascular fluid, not the intracellular fluid

Out of all the essential micronutrients excepting calcium. it's possibly the one that's hardest to have too much have. Largely because people simply choose not to eat very many whole foods which is where magnesium would otherwise have been sourced. But also because alcohol and many many other drugs and also even just stress itself cause rapid use and depletion. I could be wrong.

I don't.

It's interesting if true that you suddenly felt a spirit guide telling you to use magnesium.

I took a nutrition class and learned that it was involved and integral to the activity of most enzymes in the human body

I rub mangesium oil on myself before I take a dump, shave and brush. then wash it off in the shower

Also; I guess you aren't depressed then? When I was depressed, racemic ketamine would have no real antidepressant effect. when I was severely depressed it had a noticable effect. but it seems like you get manic if you do it while not depressed?

Interesting

One time when I was still high school age I was sick at home and I had a fever that was like 103-105, I can't remember anything past the delusions but I was taken to the hospital....my point is I thought there was a fairy with a jetpack trying to fly into my mind and if I let it get to me I knew it was going to erase my mind....looking back I think my brain was frying and was super close to ctrl+alt+del itself, I don't think I've ever been that close to the brink on anything ever otherwise

I think Asante is aware of his chronic health issues. And I think he's aware of the possibility that taking drugs May exacerbate them. Speaking for myself, I suspect that even after I develop chronic health problems that would be exacerbated by taking drugs, I will still take them. You can call that addiction if you want. I think conscious life is fundamentally driven to explore. You can explore already existent ideas and you can explore new places and you can explore new ways of feeling and perceiving and thinking and maybe even discover an idea that didn't exist yet.

I'm not trying to encourage him to use drugs. I recommended that he definitely stay away for a week and then come back and reread what he wrote. I think that's probably about the best strategy, if he's anything like me. When I went back a week after my first ketamine binge, which also included a lot of acid, and read through what I wrote..... I mean I can figure out what I was trying to say but.... It doesn't even matter if what were I was saying was true because I was saying it in a way that I had a very little potential value to anyone else because of its inscrutability. When I go back a week from today and reread the way too many posts I made in the last 18 hours on 2cb, I'll be like yeah that all makes sense but because I said so much of it people just mostly tuned it out. I myself tune out most long posts by default. And yet here I am making one.

I'm 100% going to pull an Aldous Huxley on my deathbed if I can. Probably a more hardcore version of it. Shit if I was laying on my deathbed and somebody approached me with a thumbprint I would gobble it right up

Yeah, not to put too fine a point on it, but Asante has had severe health problems including an insane amount of pain for years that he's been dealing with without using any painkillers. He's not exactly a spring chicken either. Dissociatives are one of the few true anesthetics, they're better at pain killing than almost any other class of drugs, including opiates.

I get that we all want him to be healthy and that much of the criticism comes from that, but I think it's more of a razors edge you want to try to walk. A carrot and a stick, too often it seems to just become the stick, and sometimes it become a beating. Support and encouragement should always come along with criticism. If you just put someone down, that's unlikely to lead them to use less, quite the opposite. I want to see him healthy as much as anyone, I just think the methods used to encourage that could be improved.

I don't want to justify or encourage anyone's use, but at the same time I understand where he's coming from. He's not so young anymore, he's facing serious health problems, he's had a few brushes with death recently, and who knows what the future holds, I can understand the draw of wanting to see the secrets of the universe one last time. Who among us doesn't harbor some admiration for Huxley? And I'm sure we all understand intimately the inherent allure of drugs like dissociatives. When you were all using your favorite drugs, you know what it can be like. Who among us in his situation wouldn't be tempted to use? Many of you are probably still using, I think some compassion and understanding can go a long way. Let's not forget that this is a drug forum, and all of us have been there.

The only dissociative I ever had even vague interest in trying was MXE (never did though), but partially I stayed away from them because I knew how addicted I was likely to get. But I have to admit the allure of the king of the dissociatives.

you too can be thius fucked up! :awesomenod:

most rational dissociuative to use now is Tiletamine hydrochloride or Ketamine Hydrochloride of pharmaceutical purity, dosed responsibly for the right reasons.

In case it might've slipped your mind.

https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/25731151#25731151

So, I want to ask how & why exactly is Tiletamine hcl supposedly the most rational dissociative anesthetic for you to be using right now, Asante??

And, given your current conditions & circumstances, which part of what you're doing is there that you've somehow misconstrued to be responsible -and- purportedly all done for "the right reasons"???

Fyi those are rhetorical.

Friend, you're scaring the shit out of me for all the wrong reasons.  Think it's likely high time you stop monkeying around with your body-mind as if you were somehow exempt from the all embracing web of causality and to start prioritizing sanity, health, and livelihood.  Fungi I could be more partial to, but this? esp considering how it efx you?  Nty.

edit: wait I misread the last part. You're saying you see MXE as being the king of dissociatives. Idk maybe I never tried it.

I see s+ketamine as being king and what follows is based on my original misreading

join the movement brother. Ketamine CAN make you feel happier, more loving, more creative, more insightful, but never as consistently or strongly as L. But LSD CANT so certain things ketamine can do. I won't go on and on about the more speculative things I think it can do based on my experience, but if you've just had.a powerful acid trip and you're in the process of reintegrating/sorting out the useful bits from the noise, ketamine can turn that process from days or weeks into 2 hours.

Yolo. Ket is one of the safest drugs that can get you super fucked up that there is..the.fact it kicks in in 5 mins and can be over in 3 hours is convenient as well in a way L obviously isnt. Bonus points for graduating to ketacid

smoking DMT during my ketacid trip brought me closer to 'im hearing the voice of God and I know everything important and true' delusional grandiosity than I've ever felt. I was all good until the DMT though. Haven't used any since
