will aeroponic to dwc bubbler switch cause problems?
    #2829137 - 06/25/04 11:16 PM (13 years, 4 months ago)

actually im not even sure if its considered aeroponics, but im new to hydro, and i wanna do this right.

so i planned on setting up a nice simple dwc bubbler ala GreenNinja's setup ( http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...part=1&vc=1 ) , except i plan on using 6 inch baskets with the grow rocks instead of no medium at all, and probably 3 or 4 plants per rubbermaid instead of just 2. but i was thinking what a pain in the ass it would be to start a seedling or a small clone in a system like that, so i was going to build a setup to do seedlings in with 3 inch baskets over a foger in a rubbermaid (have an extrenal resevoir that it drains back into, and adjustable drip stakes for each small basket).

so my question is...will i run into any problems switching between the two different styles of hydro? is it gonna be a super pain in the ass to get the seedlings or clones out of the small baskets and move into the large baskets?

am i better off just building a bubble cloner? but i have all these spare drip stakes and nothing to do with them.

im confused...hydro seems so easy, yet i have half built 2 diff. systems and now i cant decide what to do, so they are useless and unfinished.

alot of people start there clones in an aero machine and then move them over. I recomend starting and staying with the same hydro.

my reason is the plant is allready adjusted to where it starts growing.. however it can be done with little to no shock...

your question answerd... no.. it's pretty standard to transfer a areo started to another source of hydro.
