florida ID cards

what does the "DUPLICATE" line next to the "date issued" and "date expires" mean?  i've seen some templetes online and there is a date underneath "DUPLICATE" but i don't know what it means.  don't worry i'm not trying to do anything illegal or something :crazy2:

I believe it is put there so you can't copy it..... NOt that you are doing anything illegal or anything...

i just looked at my old permit the first form of id i got from florida and the duplicate date is 00-00-00 then i looked at my current one and it has the duplicate date ad 4-23-03 which is the date that i got my lincence chaged to inclube a bussiness purpose only restriction on my card, so date issued is the date of the first time you ever got a florida id and it never changes, the experation date changes depending on how long you get an extension each time you renew it (i think like 8 years) and the duplicate changes whenever you have to get a new one to get restrictions added or removed or you get a new one after it expires :stoned:
