Some stats of my PMP setup
21 Gallon rubbermaid 12" airstone Tetratec AP80...For aquariums up to 20 gallons and 80L per hour Using 2 inches of lava rock on bottom and 2 inch of hydrokorrels on top 3" of water
My problem is i've been only getting 80-85 humidity...can't get it above this...anyone know what might be wrong? i think it's got enough air...container isn't airtight but i don't think that's really the problem either.

Did you just make it, if so how cold is the water. Make sure you have a good meter.

youd be suprised about the airtightness.... sinces it creates moving air inside there it loses the humidity quickly.... simply using perlite doesnt create moving air inside so thats why you can still get 95% and up with really any container with asd lid usin perlite, but not with airstones... Try putting plastic wrap or i like Glad Press'n Seel over the container and under the lid, and its easy to just take off and put back on when needed

yeah i tried the press 'n seal,....used to use it when i used perlite...but now with the airstone in the container the press n seal comes loose all the time
and yeah i just made it...water isn't too cold...meter isn't digital,..but it doesn't seem inacurate
