Season Queries

I have Datura stramonium and Withania somnifera seeds and I was wondering if I can plant these in winter.

I start all of my seeds during the cold of winter. This gives them a headstart when I set them outside in the spring.

It also gives me something to do during the cold winter months!

Starting them indoors and planting in winter are different beasts- and I think he is asking about direct seeding.  (coorect me if I'm wrong, Shamanorreah).  And I wouldn't reccomend starting either in winter.  But starting indoors is good enough for Aelph, so it's good enough for me. :grin: I've grown datura under excess flourescents in my old grow room when I switched my kind to HPS.  Worked fine and that suprised the hell out of me.  They're so fun to grow (even though they do grow wild everywhere almost.  It's different.

Yes I was talking about direct seeding.

On the same note, is it too late to start poppies (considering it is already into winter)?
