Datura Stramonium

My girlfriend just recently took this without my consent of course. I, knowing what the potential risks are, would have read up on it before ingesting. Apparently it affected her motor skills alot and made her hallucinate mildly. Apparently the Datura Stramonium grows wild by her house, so she collected 30 flowers and brewed them to a tea. Her and her friend ingested about 4 oz. each and they both said it made them trip. They both woke up the next day and they couldn't see a thing. Apparently Datura is considered an anticholinergic deleriant. And it dilates your pupils anywhere from 3 days to 6 months potentially impairing your vision for the long. There are multiple different species of datura so if any of you are planning on taking this BE CAREFUL and make sure you what species your plant is and read up on it before hand. They gradually got their vision back, after having to where sunglasses for the majority of 2 days. But, apparently, according to them, they were unable to see near sight, but were able to see far sight. Anybody else ever try this? also these incidents are related to the use of these plants... which is sorta sketch if you ask me. Student Cuts Tongue and... Local Teens Hospitalized

Datura scares the hell out of me, moreso than salvia or any other generally uncomfortable psychedelic. Thats a hell of a lot of flowers to take also, I've felt effects from one flower. I had a 2 liter tincture steeping with blooms (probably several hundred) but decided it was too potent and destroyed it when I felt effects from touching the liquid around the bottle's opening.
Yes the pupils dilate for a long time, so if you must experience it plan on being in a low lit area for the next few days. Have a SOBER sitter, as she is very unpredictable (delerium is in general, eh?)...

The active dose is very near to the deadly dose and the potency varies very very much. So don't joke with that plant. I think they had a hole horde of guardian angels...

The thing about datura is that she tricks you. You take quite a bit and your not tripping..so you eat some more. The next thing you know your having a long interesting conversation with a plant or a wall. It seemed so normal though.

I've done several tropanes/anticholingerics. They are not enjoyable or mind expanding in any way, shape,or form IMHO. I think they are the closest thing you can get to a drug induced model psychosis.
BTW,Datura can kill,so tell your girlfriend to be careful.

The plant works because it induces coma. The "recreational" dose is very close to the coma-inducing dose. When you take datura, what you are toying with is black magic shamanism, death cult kind of stuff. BE CAREFUL.

It's so very pretty, yet so very dangerous

I`ve done it and believe it to be good. The only thing i find to handle is the feeling of having special powers but the other day i thought of 2 things which came to me in head visions and the next day they came true!!...weird shit.
