I think it`s cakes in general that suck. They`re just to undependable.

Coda, their is a big long section on my website about how to grow pans. Perhaps that will help. Or use the search function to read some other teks ppl are using here.

Thank you rych, will most def. check out you site. Is casing harder than using cakes? Im not dumb, and i know how to follow instructions, so that wont be a problem . I just keep reading about bad experiences with cakes, and keep drooling over the pics of mushies grown off of casings lol, so i wanna go this way, but dunno if its the right way to start out. Thanks for all the info :o)

Well,, first off pans will not grow from cakes.. so scratch that idea :)
For first time, I usually recommend cakes just to get the feel of it all.

They are speaking of the PF Strain, not the PF Tek.... I think the TEK is well respected, just I guess some people have had bad luck with the Strain in the last while......

ok, I to have had a resent problem with the pf strain. It is not hardly pinning are fruiting at all. But PF gave me the syringe for free so I can't really complain about it.
