I think that to experince true ego loss, you need to trip by yourself. If other people are tripping with you, then they can hold your level of trip down. Eat about 6-7 grams and trip alone in the dark, this should help you out.

Yeah, unfortunately or fortunetly (I'm still not quite sure) I experienced ego death my first time tripping. I consumed 3.5 g's of mushrooms. I got seperated from my tripping buddy for about an hour and a half, right at my peak. I was alone in the forest, I had already achieved oneness with nature and the world, but then ego death blew me away. I wasn't prepared for it and I didn't know how to handle it. I thought I was dying and then I embraced my death and accepted it. I really thought at the time that I had died. It was mind blowing, my first trip, and I don't regret it at all. It changed my life.

When you guys have experience ego-death was it ever taken or do you give in before you take off and get "nowherethere" I've never gone there without experiencing what fiber420 explained --I was dying and embraced it---Personally I have denied the launch in the beginning, still being pulled out of body on short rollercoaster rides until fighting the travels became exhausting and surrendering the mind became the only option...This, and only this has been my minds only way of finding that plane..........

It comes in waves, doesn't it!!!

Totally! The waves come, and then they start coming faster and faster and your getting sucked deeper in deeper and your fighting it but every time you try and fight it you only end up taking yourself deeper somehow and then it just overwhelms you and you accept your death and your ego is gone and you exist merely as a point in space and you wonder if reality is actually real.

I have only experienced the state of being egoless once and It changed my life. It amazes me today, 9 months later, I think I may be ready to experience it again, I'm not sure though, at least this time I'll be a little more prepared. i.e. not my first time tripping: that was one crazy day.

Exactly........I think the peak of the experience is when you give in, you know how much it takes to give in.... Now to only figure out the strange chess looking pieces that have stood before me on the grid???Hehe

i had ego death with about 15 G of dried Liberty caps... that was sorta overkill actually.
i was with a friend, but at that dose even he felt it, and he and I merged into one, and we realized we already were one person. kinda like when the guy in fightclub realizes he is tyler durden.
so anyway. after grappling with the fact that my friend followed me to this universe of oneness. i figured he must be my immaginary friend and ive always been really messed up, turns out, im his immaginay friend living in a world inside his head and to this day he is trying to kill me off. :P im one of the voices :) weird eh? and to me, i exist, im a separate entity. but then, i may be god and this is all just how i see things. :)
the eyes project a reality :) we all become one and its just me, all alone with evrybody then there is nothing bet a mind that runs like a machine, a mathematical equation of fractals. and it is not an unconsiosness, the world is still there and you can interact with it, it just lacks form and function. evrything is a symbol within a symbolic environment. and your body is not there, but mearly a suggestion.

i chose to take this suggestion and return, i beleive i could have stayed in this place of oneness....

I don't know about LSD, but 3.5 grams of mushrooms will usually send me right into space. I'm only 105 lbs.
