gotta wonder how the war and the bombing of hospitals in Ukraine is affecting their ability to address the pandemic. hopefully their vaccination rate was high before all this started. Maybe russian is targeting the hospitals to increase pandemic strian as part of the war effort.

I just find it very telling that as soon as the pandemic was done they started pushing another thing to be afraid of. I guess it's true that the media really thrives on fear.

So I'm working with the general public daily unmasked, now. Haven't been wearing a mask at work for 3 weeks.

I assume I'm getting exposed to some flavor of covid from time to time which is keeping my antibody levels rockin in the free world.

Public health measures and messaging have been held back by politics since the start. Saying the pandemic is over is just more of the same speaking down to people who can't handle the raw truth mixed with pandering to people who benefit from exploiting those patronized idiots. The omicron peak is sorta relaxed worldwide, and it feels calmed down for lots of us, but in terms of the actual science, it's premature to say we're out of the pandemic phase. New cases are still high world wide, and another wave could easily pop up in the first world where the death, suffering, and petty bitching get media attention. Fortunately the novelty has worn off and the exploitative messaging is less appealing now, so as long as you drama queens are keeping your buttholes greased then you shouldn't have to worry too much about anal prolapse. The anal fissures should heal up if you quit picking at them and take some stool softeners.

When a cell senses it might be infected, it moves proteins being produced by its ribosomes and puts them on its surface and releases hormones that attract cells that are part of the adaptive immune system.
