With all the off topic bullshit in this thread, we need an Asante style post genocide up in here.

Covid is definitely still around... I finally caught it after 2 long ass years, some dome dumb fuck came to work sick because they believed covid wasn't a thing anymore.  Now we have 7 people positive and this dumb ass is in the hospital, no updates, not returning texts.  Morons probably on a ventilator right now... after he was crowing how he never got vaccinated and made it through the pandemic just fine.  :facepalm:

I hope you're doing alright, and I respect the anger. I'd be pissed too. I'm wearing an N95 in public until new cases are down far enough for stupid motherfuckers not to be such a risk. I'd also second the call for an Asante murder wave.

Yeah, "back during covid" is a phrase I'm hearing pretty much daily lately... just like last spring/summer.

I still think that the disease caused by omicron should be given its own name. Calling that disease covid-19 feels disingenuous and in a medical setting is almost worse than useless


There have been multiple instances recently where the outgoing nurse giving me report failed/forgot to even mention the covid positive status of a patient because it was the least useful piece of information related to their care. This is definitely a big oops but it also speaks volumes about the current relevance of sars cov 2 positivity status

I kinda agree, especially with the data coming out of england showing IFR for omicron is now lower than for the flu.  Maybe Covid-Lite, like full covid, but with less calories :ducklol:

I guess Trump is in the same boat along with everyone else who got Covid. I don't think it is about not being smart or being a fool although in some cases one could say that they were asking for it.
