Ahh gotcha. GL with it, seems like that stuff works as advertised. With you that you need to stay active to remain ahead of the calorie curve.

Last night I just ordered a workout bench that folds up. I’m going to bring it into my office at work and when no one is there use the place as a gym. Have tried with people there and it just feels weird trying to pump weights while talking about work.

That’s not the science. The science here is doing epidemiological reconstruction that shows the outbreaks appear centered around the wet market.  These studies examined where. Then one can speculate on how. How did the virus get to the market and how did it jump to humans. These are questions not examined the studies.

Which is precisely what they were accusing you of doing towards the end. Which angle the projection is coming from has pretty obvious to me at this point and has been for a while but I can imagine how I might have ended up seeing something different without being "more stupid" in the eugenic "predisposition for learning quickly in order to gain an adaptive advantage" sense

These paranoid types seem to have some overwhelming fear of homosexuality or butt play that interferes with their everyday rational judgement. Adding the butt swab was a decent idea from a scientific perspective. it caught cases that were getting missed by the nose swab. If you're trying to protect foreign dignitaries then it makes sense to be extra careful in preventing them from being exposed to a deadly virus.
