It's been a pandemic. Sacrifices were made, as were mistakes. Some people handled it like mature adults, others experienced brain melt that they may never recover from. Now that the evil tyrannical government that never cedes the powers it takes is ceding the powers it took, vaccine mandates are the new punching bag for the crazies to redirect their anger towards. The rest of us continue to enjoy our lives, with extra protection against the pandemic virus that we'll be exposed to frequently, from a vaccine that the vast majority of all educated and informed people on the planet chose to get without any external pressure.

You can't even conclusively deduce that one of your misinformation gurus is still alive after being told they are and running your own search for them, or accurately quote a death rate that can be found and verified by virtually anyone with 10 seconds to spare.

I don't necessarily support covid vaccine mandates at this point, but you seem to be a prime example of why some people should not be tasked with making their own medical decisions.

My qualifications are more that what's necessary to speak from an informed position on this topic, I've gone over what I do and my background numerous times in this thread. I'm glad you won a science fair though.

Choosing to refuse vaccination prior to infection is a very common irreversible medical decision, I treat patients for it every day. Oddly enough I don't see people who got hospitalized because they chose to protect themselves against the same virus.

We have medical professionals.  Myself, my signature and initials are all over QC paperwork for batches of the Moderna covid-19 vaccine.  I am legally liable for all tests I have performed and all I have reviewed.  If these vaccines were killing people due negligence in manufacturing, malfeasance in what they claim to do, I could possibly end up in jail.

I can't possibly imagine any scenario in which the reason for that has to do with a desire to maintain whatever reputation of legitimacy remains to them in spite of the emergence of doctor internet

"Doctors" credited with the discovery of HIV, mRNA mods, and PCR lost legitimacy over politics.

"Doctors" who kill people, in the research or emergency phase, are under qualified immunity.

Many people, who are not doctors, or who own nothing, feel qualified to put their fellow man on restriction and shout him down, rudely.

Where 90% of Canadians have willfully subjected themselves to this herd dynamic, the most productive way to spend your time would probably be on self-improvement, outside of the right-of-way.

We lifted our mask mandate on Monday. Maryland has the lowest case rate in the country, but almost everyone was still wearing masks at the stores today, which is probably why we have the lowest case rate in the country.

Durian winning a science fair while in school is not a qualification, thousands of kids every year win some sort of award and many get star stickers for their efforts in class. Now, if durian has a PhD that would be different and that changes the conversation. But I highly doubt that is the case so much so that I would put money on it.
