It wasn't a 'fake' badge and camera... it's independent media. They are only allowing Government paid media in.

There's also video where MP Carleton(Pierre Poilievre) in house of commons blasted Trudeau for giving CBC and other networks over a billion dollars. Of course no one reported about it, but there are previously documented reports of him giving CBC 400million before.

I respect the cOrPorAte MeDiA way more than whatever wacky youtube channel you guys get your opinions from. You seem to be under the misapprehension that I am sitting here watching CNN to inform myself of the situation in Canada. I am not. I am reading your posts, that's it. And from over here, it reads as a continuation of the same paranoid right-wing hysteria that we've been seeing for the last 5 years or so.

Rich guys running the world isn't news kids, it isn't even hidden. Maybe look a little deeper and figure out who's agenda you're being manipulated into enacting.

Honestly that's great advice and a lot of people don't realize when they've been manipulated. I've been familiar with how psychological warfare is perpetrated for at least 8 years now so we're not actually pushing any agenda and certainly not for anyone else.

Canadians are certainly done having rich guys run their country.

Are there questionable things happening on all sides.. yes. There always is because shit gets infiltrated and coopted all the time. Every organization I worked for was infiltrated by at least one person to prevent any impactful work from being done.

Probably the Conservative Party. I don't know an exact MP but Pierre Poiliviere was already giving the "if I'm Prime Minister" speeches today.

There is really no other choices as of now. We have a 2 party system when we have at least 5 parties.

I personally only vote Green Party every election.

I think the value of these protests is it set a precedent for the future of Canada that we will hold leaders accountable if and when they fail us.

I used to vote Green party myself. I actually voted PPC this election. The absolute only reason I did was because of their vaccine policy. I disagree with every other policy they had, but all I cared about was vaccine mandates.

The sad truth is that it doesn't matter whos elected, they're all going to fuck up. Maybe that isn't true tho, truedoh lol.

Nah I agree with that. They are all corrupt or they wouldn't be in the position they are in. You can't even stay in politics if you don't conform to corporations.

This protest has taught me quite a lot about the true power of staying peaceful while taking a beating from police. I am thankful no one has been seriously hurt or killed. I've always been a burn it all down type which is why I admire these Canadians so much.
