Morning glories seem to do well in shitty soil.

Cactus soil opinions differ, but i often just mix up my cactus soil like this. I get some all purpose sand, add some potting soil until it looks like darker colored sand, then a little bone meal, then maybe a little crushed gravel if the all purpose quickkrete sand doesn't pan out well, then a little wood chips.

Mimosa: General potting mix is usually sufficient, don't forget the pea innoculant though.

Bone Meal?????
Here is my mix can you tell me if it is good or not.
I use organic cow manure with humus, potting soil, sand from my neighbors cranberry bog (well he gave it to me it's what he uses in his cranberry bog He owns a construction company, and does landscaping stuff sometimes) 3/8 marble, limestone pellets, and a bit of my own compost... Is that a good mix??? Let me see did I leave anything out?? Nope that's it. What do ya think??

sounds okay if you're not overloading your mix with the organic matter that might hold too much water and lead to rot. It's all about the ratios of one ingredient to the other(s).

What would you say mix the potting soil and sand until I get a nice "dirty" sand color then put in a little cow manure and natural humus with some compost a little wood chips maybe had a hand full or two of 3/8 marble chips, then maybe a few shovels of limestone pellets they are tiny bigger than sand but still tiny.

i'm like a belgian chef when it comes to mixing soil, i do it solely on looks and gut. Don't put too much organic matter in as it could make your soil hold too much water and start to cause rot.
