My mother got the Vax yesterday. Today she says her index finger is tingly. Like when an extremity falls asleep.

Could this be a side effect or coincidence?

Could be a reaction to the vaccine. Minor paresthesia happens to most people from time to time. Could be caused by anxiety too. It’s extremely common with diabetes

Delay your second dose to six weeks or so. You get a much better response. Of course you spend more time with less protection.

It’s suspected that the reason why Israel is seeing so many breakthrough cases is they heavily relied on the Pfizer 3 week schedule. Other countries like the UK and Canada that actually delayed second doses up to two or three months are not seeing many serious cases in vaccinated.

Aside from the dosing schedule, the moderna and Pfizer are essentially identical

Thanks Koods. I'll check on the diabetes possibility. She does have a terrible diet. She had stage 4 tongue cancer and since been hyper sensitive to most all foods. Her diet is instant Carnation drinks and vanilla ice cream
