I’m somewhat surprised Biden went this far with the mandates, but leaving the option open for the unvaccinated to get weekly testing actually seems like a decent compromise. It’s inconvenient enough that it’ll push a lot of people to make the right choice.

Stepping back and looking at this objectively... Is it rational to make personal health decisions based on political affiliation?

IE: Biden is an evil socialist communist, therefore whatever he orders, I will do the opposite, even at the expense of my own health.

I don't follow politics much, although these recent events are making me gain more interest.

I didn't vote for Trump any more than I did Biden, I don't like either all that much for very different reasons. 

Biden is worse though just because I saw him touching little girls. For that alone he's a piece of shit.

Anything he does or says has no impact on my choices, but I can only speak for myself.

Why would I care what he says? Half the time he doesn't even know where he is.

Like I said, idk if the video was old, but he was on camera saying he didn't think masks or vax should be mandatory. It was a small snippet so no context and maybe it was old and he has changed his mind.

I took note of it though as unexpected abd showing potential that he is portrayed differently than that snippet suggests.

I'm more worried about opening the door to further large government moves as opposed to being against mandatory vax for any reason related to covid.

It should be a decision made by the state made by the representatives who represent their population. Although I probably would do what I want either way. I don't like big gov. I don't want the gov involved in my life. I believe in hard work. And earning what I get in life. I rather earn nothing on my own than be given everything from the gov.

Covid aside, I don't like big gov and I do fear the effects of socialism. America is primed to crumble. Our people are weak. Our values are weak. Our country is divided.
