my hiking trip *pics*

Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is going to have a wonderful Memorial day weekend.

I went on a hike yesterday through and around Williams Canyon.

Thats the entrance. It was a little foreboding. Theres a few more of those "No Trespassing" signs along the way.. but who obeys those anyways?
visually it was probably one of the prettiest hikes I've ever done. It ran next to a creek the whole time so the trees and flora were green, lush and felt like they were jumping out at you.

The trail itself added to the mysterious and fairy tale like terrain. The trail was made up of unsual shaped rocks and littered with small shrubs and large cabbage like plants.



I found out later it was about a 1 1/2 - 2 mile hike. Up some steep terrian. Mild rock climbing. I would consider the second half of the hike to be moderate to difficult. TOTALLY WORTH IT for a view like this one

So, heh yet another hike I felt like shareing with yall. And if anyone makes it to colorado this summer you've gotta stop and check out this one.

Nice pics, beautiful area.

Only in the States would you see a sign threatening prosecution for hiking.  :crazy:

yeah. I'm pretty sure thats only there so they won't be liable for any injuries.
People are sue happy in the states
