So any one of us could die within the week? (Chinese launch debris)
    #27297149 -

Because they didn't make the world as scared as they hoped in 2020.

:smugjerry:

What are you all gonna do when you see it heading your way if death is iminent?

I'll probably hit some weed. I'm sure someone would have the same idea and share.

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Psalm 12:6
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Hebrews 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Revelation 3:11
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

I hope a bit lands in my back yard, I'll fashion it into a new hot plate.

that's pretty scary, does anyone know how far in advance we could be alerted?

or would NASA be like 'coming in hot!....welp, that's all folks'

edit: 'a few hours', this is really irresponsible space work. they need to start fitting spacecraft with self-destruct mechanisms for things like this. with a few hours most people in major cities woudl be alerted and many would find safety. more rural/less connected places on earth are in greater danger.

Oh jeez, good to know . Looks like a 60-80% chance it'll burn up in the atmosphere, and if it doesn't, probably just land in the sea or uninhabited wilderness.

If I knew it was coming? Idk. Probably deny it and try to live till the end. When people in Hawaii got that false missile launch alert they started to put children and people in the sewers. Seems like a good place to potentially get crushed, but idk, I'd probably gather around other people and try and find a way to survive. I'm only human .

I always though getting hit by a meteorite was an OK way to go.

i heard somewhere that the air pressure would kill you just slightly before the actual impact, the object is moving so fast that air doesn't have time to move out of the way and becomes a crushing death smack, like 100 atmospheres of pressure all at once, the dmt of dead

I like the sudden unexpected painless deaths. a 60 ton piece of metal falling through your house with you in it at two miles a second is that :cookiemonster:
