I'm loving this thread. Any of you guys got some good pics of fruiting PF cakes in ziplocs? I am helping a buddy with his first cakes and was thinking this could be way easier for him than doing them in a tub.

No, a pe/apeu f1.. I’m excited to see the F2 when I fire back up.. that and the PE/RW that also did really well on cakes



That was a 12g dry cake.. but there was another cake that was attached to that one and didn’t fruit but got sucked dry from that one above.. so really that 12g was from 2 cakes.. you can see the spot the other cake was attached (right above the knuckle in my pointer finger)

What is the acronym DEC in regard to cakes? It seems like it stands for dunk and roll but the letters don't work?

Gotta say I knew you were onto something the first time you posted in Cultivation picture of the day, using these to fruit second flushes of shoeboxes.

I went and used a pint spawn in a one gallon bag with some coir that same day because I had to know. Looks like you were writing a Tek about it at the time! Hah

bump, 1st post here...thx for this one faht.. had some extra odd jars coincidentally... got these apes spawned from oats...this is 2 weeks since spawn... I had checked back to see if anyone said anything about the fruit getting up against the side... doesn't seem like an issue from the pics i see. Tempted to take micelio's advice and trim bag put in tub.ty!!!! :cheers:

Heres a trich infected cake that i descided to fruit inside a 1 gallon bag go prevent mold spreading to other cakes.



I made a Novelty out of it with my glass jar and glow stick lighting :cool2:

Yep, li fo' sho'...I actually did do a bag with 3 brf cakes at the same time as the one in the pic...filled up a plastic container part way with water...poked holes in lid, set the cakes on foil on top of lid, put whole thing in 2.5 gal Ziploc...it ain't doing much. Would highly recommend spawning to coir...easy to mush up through the ziplock.

Just wanted to post another little ziplock grow. I'm really digging these for the leftover grain when I g2g. Since I'm in a sab it's hard to get all the last grains so instead of wasting em I toss em in a little ziplock and it normally gives me a decent amount to gift to a friend or eat myself. Pretty neat
