Mushroom capsules -- a good idea??

Recently this cat took shrooms that had been ground up and placed in gelatin capsules. He took roughly 4 grams and the trip took off much faster than expected and was quite heavy for about 2 hours. After 4 hours the trip was barely felt, even though eating mushies the regular way seems to last a good 6 hours or more.

Has anyone else experienced mushroom capsules like this?? Open to ideas and suggestions all in the name of scientific inquiry. I am just wondering if eating capsules is not as good as eating the mushies outright.

yea, capsules come on much much faster, the trip is more intence, and shorter. that's why it's good to take half, then waitl half an hour, then take the other half...  its been my experience that mushroom capsules rock :grin:

capsules are faster usually, i find once you grind the boomers up they lose potency alot faster fyi. so i usually grind just before i eat capsule, like within a day or 2.
