PMP humidity problem
    #2692606 -

I've got a problem w/the humidity in my PMP... I just built it, and i've had it running for about an hour or so, and there is no codensation on the sides.

I'm using a 100 gallon aquarium pump in a 21 gallon rubbermaid and I'm wondering if too much air exchange could be the problem or if more/less water needs to be added.

edit: i guess i should have said i'm not exactly sure what my humidity is at as i don't have a humidity gauge... but i don't really have much condensation on the side.

Lol....in one hour I'd be surprised if you had any condensation on the sides.

Condensation only forms if the air outside the chamber is cooler then the air inside the chamber. Since you just added new water to the chamber and it is most likely cold I'd say your gonna wait a bit. My wanna try a new meter.

well i know you said that it should reach humidity in 15 minutes, i was assuming that you meant condensation on the side (and i'm not using a meter so thats what i was basing it on). I read the posts on DeadShaman's humidity questions w/the tropic aire and I think that answered my question... I didn't realize that the condensation wasn't necessarily a sign of humidty.
