airing terrarium

when i air out my terrarium when the cakes are fruiting... to keep out contams would it be ok to lightly spray the cakes and shrooms with h202 (hydrogen peroxide)?

I only use a H202/water solution when casing and patching. I don't think that lightly spraying the shrooms will hurt them, but it's unnecessery.

You should avoid spraying h2o2 on the cakes once they start pinning. IME you will see more aborts if you do this and removing them is imperative to preventing contamination as they will rot and bread bad stuff. Removing a bunch of aborted pins with tweezers can be quite tedious.

no i wouldn't do that
just keep them in a clean enviroment and follow sterile procedures and you won't have to worry about contams
