Air Bud Holocaust is still the most disturbing film ever made

I'm a lightweight when it comes to stuff like this. I've seen some scenes/bits & pieces of shit like Cannibal Holocaust and Gummo. It's not my cup of tea to willingly want to be disturbed. I mean even Enter the Void I found relatively/somewhat disturbing and I doubt that comes even close to some of this other shit.

Let's see...I did see Requiem for a Dream. That was so long ago I barely remember anything from it. I saw an early Faces of Death film when I was like 9 years old that honestly kinda fucked me up and stayed with me forever. Also accidentally stumbled into a genuine cartel torture video (I know, not the same thing because it's not a movie) at a boxing message board of all places. That fucked me up, man.

I do want to see Clockwork Orange at some point (I've seen a few scenes from it).

Gummo is disturbing to me because it's a slice of real life it seems. I grew up poor so I saw some really bad things/people/situations. You should watch it if you liked "Kids" etc...

Yeah I heard it was almost like dropping a hidden camera into some backwards/stuck in time, dirt poor, twisted ass white trash town.

The first time I ever knew of its existence was in one of the opening scenes of Belly, a New York hood gansta movie (underrated too), where they go to meet with top dude (played by DMX) and Gummo was playing on in the background.

That's the scene with Gummo playing in the background.

But I did actually for it once to stream on Amazon but it doesn't even exist within their library.

I really like Harmony Korine's Spring Breakers (same director as Gummo). I still need to watch his newest movie, Beach Bum

And Clockwork Orange is excellent - definitely among Kubrick's best work. I can see elements of it being psychologically disturbing, but I wouldn't say its hard to watch.

I actually hated Spring Breakers. There were some memorable, well done scenes though (although I though very few and far in between). Like the robbery early in the film. I give Korine major props for how stylized that scene was.

I do have some interest in Beach Bum however.

Anything with McConaughey, these days, I'm willing to bet on.

He went from a guy who was generally considered a mediocre at best actor who specialized in rom-coms to a guy who is now, pound for pound, one of the best actors on the planet really.

I like Spring Breakers because its a surreal, hyper-stylized satire intermixed with violence

Its a lot smarter than it pretends to be

I'm downloading beach bum now. The movie wasnt rated very high but I'm still gonna give it a go.

What's funny about spring breakers is I didn't know what to expect. I was expecting Project X: beach addition and got something else that was great. Lol it was funny thinking it was gonna be like project X and then that first robbery scene started :omgz:

Yeah same here.. I never saw Project X but the trailers made it out to be another typical party movie, which is why I think a lot of people didn't like / get it...

I went in not expecting much but was surprised to find a sort of art film disguised as a party movie

I love it when an art film is stimulating and enjoyable

Beach Bum is currently available on Hulu. Maybe I'll watch that tonight instead of Gummo

Hey if you guys like Harmony Korine, check out Mister Lonely some time.  I feel like no one ever talks about this movie, but it’s pretty good.

Korine also directed Ushimi Wam (or something like that), a short movie that starred Die Antwoord.

Neither of these movies are disturbing, just thought I’d recommend some Korine stuff that isn’t Kids and Gummo.

I'll check out Mister Lonely... haven't seen that one yet.

Looks to be only released to DVD like Gummo... wonder what the deal is with Korine's films not being very available

I have trash humpers on DVD, its just a bunch yahoos in masks breaking stuff and making bad jokes. Its not disturbing.

Spring breakers really annoys me for Franco's wigger character and the Skrillex music. Dubstep hasn't aged well.

Worst thing I've seen recently was probably Africa Blood & Guts. A mondo movie just fucking piles of dead elephants being poached, shit like that, its also really racist, I just wanted to scratch it of the list

The baby scene in mother! was fucked.

Sweet Movie (1973)

Jörg Buttgereit's movies like schramm or nekromantik

Watch anything I mention below at your own risk:

THE MOST DISTURBED PERSON ON PLANET EARTH is way worse. I had to turn it off

"The film was directed, edited, and produced by a person under the pseudonym "Thomas Extreme Cinemagore". (or, in some places, "Thomas Gorecin") It is produced from a number of other video files, largely found on the internet. Contained within the finished film is a sequence of clips loosely labeled as scat, vomit porn, necrophilia, various types of torture, cruelty to animals, unusual people, various types of gore, and various sex scenes, loosely quantified as documentary, mondo film, or shockumentary in a low-budget production in the style of Faces of Death, Traces of Death, or Faces of Gore. The film is listed in the genre of documentary and horror on IMDB.[1]

On poster and cover art, the film is billed as Banned in 131 Countries. Several of the clips from the film, such as "1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick" and "2 Girls 1 Cup", had risen to notoriety or garnered various amounts of online fame prior to the film's release.

Philosophy of a Knife and Visions of Suffering (directors cut) by Andrey Iskanov which has a scene in it that looks like frighteningly real scene of necrophilia.

Pig (1998) for the up close genital mutilation

Hanger (2009) Story about a hooker who aborts a baby with a coat hanger and throws it into a dumpster, a homeless guy and raises it and names it hanger. it's deformed, speaks in baby talk, and carries around a stuffed rabbit.

Also:

Ebola Syndrome (1996)

Slow Torture Puke Chamber (2010) or anything by Lucifer Valetine

August Underground (2001)

I haven't seen men behind the sun or any of the guinea pig movies
