The skull is that of a springbok. I hunted it in 2008 here in South Africa in the Kalahari. We made biltong with it, and it was not wasted. I have not hunted in a few years now, though.

Buffalo '66 is indeed good shit, but i can definitely see how it could be polarizing for some.  I really wish Gallo would make more films; The Brown Bunny is an even finer work in my (unpopular) opinion.  Anyway, speaking ov Buffalo and Brown..... HOW BOUT THOSE BROWNSSSS!?!?!  Every Browns victory deserves ample excitement, lol.

Salt, pepper, garlic is like the basic spices but there are whole bunch of recipes and flavors you can use though.

Yeah, once it's been dried for like 3-5 days or something you can eat it. If you plan on doing it, just check on google...you'll probably find real South African recipes then you'll know it's right.
